Don Bratcher President
Dons professional career started with Butler Mfg. Company in 1985 while attending UMKC. He started with Butler as an Engineering Technician responsible for part and production installation drawings for all multi-story buildings. After graduating from UMKC he accepted a position in Visalia, CA. During his 28 years with Butler, he has had various roles from those early days through District Manager, Sales Manager and finally General Manager of the Western US.
After leaving Butler, he spent two years working as Director for Alabama for Rural Metro Ambulance. Finally, in 2015, he joined Atlas Bolt & Screw as Business Unit Manager for the Wood Segment. He came to us with a desire to help define our industry with leadership, innovation and a willingness to foster new ideas. His motivation and energy landed him the position of President of Atlas on June 6th, 2017.
Don enjoys traveling with his wife and 3 children, biking and coaching youth sports.
Curby Slone Director of Operations and Finance
Curby is a native of Ohio and grew up within 30 miles of Atlas’ Ashland facility. Curby remained in Ohio during his college years, graduating from The Ohio State University with a BA in Accounting.
His professional career started with another Chicago based company, RR Donnelley and Son. RR Donnelly was at the time, North America’s largest commercial printer, responsible for everything from direct mail to college textbooks. Curby served numerous roles within the company from machine operator, customer service, eventually landing in finance. Curby draws on this, and other notable experiences within potato chip manufacturing as well as healthcare, to bring a unique perspective to Atlas’ service model.
At Atlas, Curby has continued to grow starting in early 2012 as a Sr. Accountant, Curby’s work ethic and curiosity have propelled him into the Controller’s role and his current position as Director of Operations.
Curby currently resides in Ashland Ohio, with his wife and 3 children. He enjoys time with family and friends, coaching youth sports and following the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Scott Wagoner Controller
Scott grew up in Wichita, KS and is a country boy at heart. After high school, he served in the US Army and did a tour in South Korea, while finishing his military career at the 101st Airborne Division at Ft. Campbell, Ky. Thereafter, he graduated from Northern Illinois University with a BS in Finance.
Scott’s professional career started in 1994 with Scholle Corporation as a global cost analyst to support the flexible packaging organization’s strategic operations initiatives. After two years, Scott joined Millennium Rail, Inc. to integrate a national network of railcar repair facilities to develop a single point of service for GE, GATX, and the like within the industry.
After leaving Millennium Rail, Inc., he spent 16 years working at ITW for the global appliance group. Where he has had various roles and responsibilities in advancing the organization through acquisitions, integrating accounting teams, consolidating and optimizing the supply base. Just recently he joined Atlas Bolt & Screw as the Division Controller, with enthusiasm to drive and establish best practices throughout the organization.
Scott enjoys evenings out with his wife and four children, along with hiking, camping, hunting & fishing.
Angie Cragel H.R. Manager / Customer Service Manager
Angie is a native to Ashland, Ohio. After graduation Angie attended Bradford School in Columbus, Ohio, and received her Associates degree in Accounting. Angie also graduated from Ashland University with a BSBA majoring in Accounting.
Angie started at Atlas in 1994 as a nighttime billing clerk while attending Ashland University. Her business acumen, problem solving abilities and process implementation abilities have provided an opportunity for Angie to advance to several positions throughout the company. Throughout her 26 years with the company, she has served various roles including Inside Sales Representative, Inside Sales Manager, Branch Manager and now Customer Service Manager/H. R. Manager.
Angie is married to husband, Kurtis, and has one son age 19. Angie enjoys doing outdoor activities at Lake Erie and spending time with her family and friends. Angie is a Director on the NFBA Board.
